Website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

Welcome to Annie Knowles Coaching (A&C Knowles Ltd, company number 12924179). This page explains the terms that apply to your general use of this website, and how I handle your personal data. By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the site or book a service.

1. How this page fits with your coaching agreement

This page covers general use of the website and my privacy practices. If you book a coaching session or package, the specific terms of that service, including fees, cancellation, refunds and how long a package remains valid, are set out in the 1:1 Coaching Agreement you accept when you book. Where the two documents differ on anything to do with a coaching booking, your Coaching Agreement is what governs, so those details are only kept in one place and don't go out of date here.

2. My services

•     I offer confidential one-to-one life and personal development coaching, covering things like habits and behaviour change, confidence, and life transitions. The exact focus is agreed with each client individually.

•     Sessions may be delivered by video call, phone, or in person by arrangement.

•     Coaching does not replace therapy, medical treatment, or legal or financial advice.

•     The number, length and price of sessions for a specific booking are set out in your booking confirmation and Coaching Agreement, not on this page.

3. Payments, cancellations and refunds

•     Fees are confirmed with you before a booking is made.

•     The cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms that apply to a specific coaching booking are set out in your Coaching Agreement, provided at the time of booking, along with your statutory cancellation rights where they apply.

4. Code of conduct

•     I ask that clients engage respectfully and responsibly during sessions.

•     I reserve the right to end a session, or decline further sessions, if behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise makes it unsafe to continue.

5. Confidentiality

•     Anything shared with me is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law, for example where there's a risk of serious harm to you or someone else.

•     Your personal data is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent, other than as set out in the Privacy Policy below.

6. Use of AI tools

I use AI tools to support parts of my business, such as drafting content, admin, and summarising my own notes. AI never replaces the coaching itself, which is always delivered by me personally, and I don't put anything that identifies you into public AI tools. 7. Limitation of liability

•     I'm not responsible for personal choices, actions or decisions made by a client.

•     Coaching outcomes aren't guaranteed. What you get from coaching depends on your own circumstances, choices and effort, as well as mine.

8. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use my services after a change means you accept the updated terms. The current version is always available on this page.

Privacy Policy

1. GDPR and data protection

•     I comply with UK GDPR to keep client data secure and confidential.

•     Personal data is collected, processed and stored only as far as necessary to deliver coaching services.

•     You have the right to access, correct, or ask me to delete your personal data.

2. Information I collect

•     This may include your name, email address, phone number, and anything you share with me during coaching sessions.

•     I may also collect general website usage data for analytics purposes.

3. How I use your information

•     To provide and manage your coaching sessions.

•     To communicate booking and session details with you.

•     To improve my services based on client feedback.

•     Where relevant, to support the AI-assisted admin described in the AI Usage Policy, always with the safeguards set out there.

4. Data protection

•     Your personal data is stored securely and is only accessible to authorised people.

•     I do not sell your information, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies

This website may use cookies to improve your experience and to understand how visitors use the site. By using the website, you consent to this, and you can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.

6. Your rights
